who we are. This company is dedicated to Abigail de Leon. Abby was one of the founding partners of paper or plastik who was sadly taken from this world at the young age of 23. May her dreams and spirit live forever through her ideas and designs. paper or plastik was founded in September 2004 by Luis Carmona and Abigail de Leon. After the passing away of one of the founding partners, p/p was put on hold. It was later established in January 2006 with a dedicated group of five individuals. Each p/p t-shirt is uniquely designed and hand-distressed for a vintage, worn look and feel that is distinctive to each particular garment. paper or plastik is a t-shirt line that focuses on comfort and style, with a little on the side; a company with a little bit of edge, funk and sarcasm. helping out. Partial proceeds from each product sold are donated to the Abigail de Leon scholarship fund, which was started in memory of Abby, one of p/p founding partners. The scholarship fund was created to provide assistance to students studying/involved in the fashion industry. The first scholarship is scheduled to be awarded July 2009. contact us.
